Position Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Mechanic to be the primary person responsible for managing all activities within the maintenance division. This is a great opportunity for someone to make it their own while working on all sorts of equipment from non motorized farm equipment, tractors, sprayers, heavy duty trucks, half ton trucks and buses. Fabrication and project work occurs regularly and adds to the diversity of the position. The successful applicant will have diverse mechanical abilities and experience that can be used to lead the Shop employees while performing the following duties:

• schedule, prioritize and manage all aspects of repair and maintenance in the division.
• provide training in all areas related to the maintenance division, R&M of equipment and safety.
• Assessment of job, securing parts inventory, managing people, ensure job completion to satisfaction of customer and completion of necessary paperwork.
• Maintains a well-organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Maintain a high-quality standard regarding the service provided, support the OFFS program.
• Maintain and create working sops and benchmarks for repairs.
• To provide service and communication to all our internal customers
• Create PMP schedules for all aspects of maintenance for the equipment, both motorized and non-motorized.
• To develop and maintain an inventory adequate to operate on a seasonal basis.

 Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Truck and Transport
• Licensed Automotive repair
• Forman or Management experience
• Parts and inventory management
• Team leadership, mentoring, motivating, energizing staff.

• Ability to multi-task, handle high stress environment during peak production periods, plan and ability to quickly adapt to changes.
• Strong communication skills/computer skills.
• Must be a team player, excellent communications skills, and be dependable.
• Able to handle the changes in the environment, heat and cold, outside work.
