Strawberries

Country Magic strawberries have broke from traditional supply in Atlantic Canada. We are earlier and later than ever before. We can now offer traditional summer strawberries starting in June. With a small gap in mid-July, our ever-bearing program goes through to early October.

Country Magic strawberries taste so good because of where they are grown. They are produced in a micro-climate near Kingston in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. The unique climate allows us to maximize the flavor of each individual berry. The warm days and cool nights ensure that each berry is as sweet and succulent as possible.

Health & Wellness

Our Country Magic strawberries are rich in anthocyanins and other phytochemicals. Anthocyanins have been implicated in improved brain health, heart health and prevention of some cancers. They are a source of fibre and also offer source of folate, potassium, iron and an excellent source of vitamin C. Adding fresh Country Magic strawberries to your diet, whether they are in salads, cereals, desserts or smoothies is a great way to contribute to the servings of fruit you need for a healthy immune system, disease prevention and overall health and wellness.

Country Magic Strawberries should be kept between 0°C to 2°C until consumed and handled with care.

Here at Country Magic we have adopted growing practices and equipment that is allowing us to extend the conventional strawberry season. In our strawberry fields we have developed soil preparation techniques that grow delicious strawberries. We have also invested in equipment that will allow us to provide strawberries earlier than any other local supplier and will fill the July gap. By implementing new techniques and equipment, Country Magic continues to push the envelope of when we can deliver Country Magic strawberries to our customers.
