The Nova Agri Group of Companies have been farming in the Annapolis Valley for over 50 years. Our primary crops grown for domestic and export markets include high bush blueberries, onions, corn, pumpkins, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries. We have an immediate opening for a key team member in the onion division to join our diverse, inclusive and friendly workplace on a full-time basis.

We are looking for that unique individual who can grow into a position of leadership and have the ability to make sound, logical decisions with a passion for farming.

This full -time position has three main areas of responsibility:

1) Sprayer Operator, 2) Truck Operator, and 3) Farm Equipment Maintenance

The successful candidate will have experience and qualifications in the following:

• previous experience working in a farming environment considered an asset
• experience operating a truck
• Mechanically inclined
• Class 1 driving license preferred ; Class 3 minimum
• Experience operating a sprayer
• Fork lift operator experience/license is as asset

During our farming season (March-Oct) extra hours will be required to fulfill the job. Work will mostly be outside in all weather conditions .During the winter season (Nov-Feb) work is available indoors in the maintenance shop servicing and cleaning our farm equipment and vehicles.
